Process_Description:

Boundaries for recreational fishing areas were marked on NOAA nautical charts by local fisheries biologists and recreational fishing groups. All boundaries were consolidated onto one nautical chart, which was scanned into a TIFF image. The image was registered and rectified using ArcInfo. Boundaries were heads-up digitized in ArcView as shapefiles, and then converted into coverages in ArcInfo where they were edited and cleaned.
